How will Left 4 Dead 2 play on the Macbook Pro 13 Inch (mid 2009 model I think) via BootCamp? I'm planning on installing it there because MBP is the closest thing I got that is relatively fast.

Kung pwede rin, whoever has played Left 4 Dead 2 share your thoughts naman!!!

kaya po yan! i was able to play L4D on my mac. the 9400m graphics could handle it. just after installing it, you need to adjust some options.

    option>video>advance>multicore rendering - disabled it
    option>video>advacce>paged pool memory - low

hope this helps! it will optimize your system!

Some here part 1 works well on our 2009 Mac Mini with everything low/off (it still looks quite good). I'm not sure about part 2, since it is the same 3D engine it should also run decently (perhaps a tad slower/chopper).

It'll run fine. I use my 13-inch Aluminum MacBook (no memory or HDD upgrades) for playing it.

It's pure fun especially when you've got your friends around. Care to play online? I got Steam.

which mbp 13 model is this? will it work with just 2 gig ram and 2.26ghz cpu speed? I have the mid-2009 mbp kasi (the one with the lowest default specs)

hoping to play this game with my laptop!

If you have the mid-2009 MBP this means you have the Nvidia 9400 which can decently run L4D2 :)

dragon age origins runs well in my mbp uni2.26 considering it has higher requirements than L4D2 (i think). and im on vista too.

    It's the October 2008 model.

    My specs and OS:
    2.0 GHz
    2 GB RAM
    NVIDIA 9400M (256 VRAM)
    Windows XP

I run it on med-high graphics settings and it's still fine. Online games do lag but only when your internet connection turns slow.

Re: Left 4 Dead 2 on Macbook Pro

I'm having an error in installing boot camp! There's a partition error that I can't fix. I don't have iDefrag. I have a Time Machine setup using an external hard disk though. What should I do?

Re: Left 4 Dead 2 on Macbook Pro

Well I decided to format my hard disk instead. Backed it up with my Time Machine using an external drive. L4D 2 is working now but some of my previous files (movies, docs etc) are missing when I restored the data from Time Machine...
