people will have different experiences, but in all these years and after a couple of dozen laptops (no kidding) i've never used an lcd protector and haven't really needed one. my screens are clean and spotless. if your screen and keys hit each other constantly, a sheet of paper left between the screen and keyboard might do the trick.

    yes! yes! and yes!

if you're going for any Macbook which has a glossy screen, might as well get one my friend!

it protects the merchandise from all the laways and stuff!!! :')

Have never used an LCD protector with any of my laptops over the years. 9 months with my MacBook without one and I see no need to get one for it. I just give it a good cleaning with iKlear twice a month.

your screen will still get fingerprints and marks, proector or not. they'll just get on the protector and not the screen itself. no product out there will prevent these things. as for me (and just me), i avoid protectors because i don't know their long-term effect on the screen, how they will affect image quality, and what kind of residue they will leave when they come off. i'm happy using things as they were originally designed, without too many accessories.

maybe its not the protection that should be the basis for these LCD screen stickers, but that of bringing back the MATTE over the GLOSSY finish of the LCD --for those who have headaches with these glossy screens.

i really dont want to install a screen protector but even if i keep my lcd clean you can't avoid the kind of people who loves to point thing they see on the screen..do you know what i mean.. the people whotell you to click on that button and actually points the button on the screen and touches it..HEHE.. thats the reason why i buy screen protectors so they can touch the screen all they want..just buy one from CDR king..i think its only php150..

No screen protector needed for the unibody MBs. Had the MB for almost 2 months now, its LCD is still shiny and flawless. Just need the occasional wiping with the included cloth.

But really, pointing fingers are the real enemy. But still I'd rather clean the screen afterwards, rather than live with a screen protector all the time. I love the mirror finish of my screen, LOL.

Who wants a shiny glass keyboard for the 2009 Macbook, anyone? :D :D :D

IMO the P150 protectors of CD-R king are worth it. The more expensive ones aren't because there's hardly any difference.

No residue when removing them too. I've been using those for a couple of laptops already and recently installed one on my MB.
