Starting this thread for non-Apple Laptops (including Surface devices)
    (Chromebooks not included)

Basically, the portable hardware that runs Windows (or Linux)

Was looking at possible laptops for my wife. Is it just me, or Microsoft has not released a 2020 version of the Surface Pro?

Nope they have not, rumor says that the next surface pro would be next year already.
Made my SP7 purchase last June worth it (at least this stays as the 'latest' model for a bit of a longer time).

Got my SP7 too last December. At least it will be another year before I think of upgrading.

    Thanks for this thread @ice

im also looking for laptop suggestions.

i had my eye on the huawei matebook pro but cant seem to find it anywhere. I like the Vaio SX12 or 14 for ports. Also looking at the Razer Book 13 (coming soon)

Personally, I'm a big fan of Thinkpads, T or X series (Ryzen version cooler than the Intels)

Other than Thinkpads, its the Surface or XPS (although I really hate the location of the XPS's camera)

I'm one of the few too. Anything bigger than 13 and I'd wish I was using a desktop instead.
