You're right I find it really attractive though, like it was made for the Aluminum PowerBooks. I want to replace the Coolpad on my desk. They have to work on their translation though, "Shock observation"?
That stand looks like it's going to make my Book a BiPod Too bulky (& adds extra weight) for my taste... "I'd rather stick to my Balls"
Doesn't look like it. I still prefer the Coolpad when on-the-go (can't imagine using the XT-Stand on my lap). This seems to be a good stand to leave on your desk.
how about this one.. check it out http://www.balmuda.com/products/x-base/index.html and another one.. www.spirica.jp [Edited on 6-13-2004 by iVinchy]
i would stick to my coolpad too for on-location presentation usage. but that stand do look sweet on a clean metal desk.
(IBREEZE from MacMice) Breeze is a dual fan cooled, USB powered, clear acrylic desk stand for your Apple Powerbook or iBook. It is powered by the computer's USB port, and provides a passthrough port, so you don't lose the use of that USB port when using the iBreeze. The iBreeze is built to provide quiet cooling, as well as improved ergonomics (by providing a nicely raised angle for using the keyboard).

wow...so many cool stands / lap accessories. that one with the fan is really somethin' i'm still savin' up for a coolpad tho. i really love that it has a swivel function! can't wait!
Well, these aren't really laptop stands per se; more like notebook coolers, but they're cool nonetheless Antec notebook cooler: http://www.hardwarezone.com/articles/view.php?cid=22&id=1084 CoolerMaster Coolpad: http://www.coolermaster.com/index.php?LT=english&Language_s=2&url_place=product&p_serial=PNC-U51&other_title=0
