You're right :D I find it really attractive though, like it was made for the Aluminum PowerBooks. I want to replace the Coolpad on my desk. They have to work on their translation though, "Shock observation"? ;)

That stand looks like it's going to make my Book a BiPod :D

Too bulky (& adds extra weight) for my taste... "I'd rather stick to my Balls"

Would like to see it first up close & side by side w/ the CoolPad for comparison.

Doesn't look like it. I still prefer the Coolpad when on-the-go (can't imagine using the XT-Stand on my lap). This seems to be a good stand to leave on your desk.

i would stick to my coolpad too for on-location presentation usage. but that stand do look sweet on a clean metal desk.

Sticking it out w/ the CoolPad! Well, it does help that I've already bought several. :)

    [IMG]   (IBREEZE from MacMice)

Breeze is a dual fan cooled, USB powered, clear acrylic desk stand for your Apple Powerbook or iBook. It is powered by the computer's USB port, and provides a passthrough port, so you don't lose the use of that USB port when using the iBreeze. The iBreeze is built to provide quiet cooling, as well as improved ergonomics (by providing a nicely raised angle for using the keyboard).

Well, these aren't really laptop stands per se; more like notebook coolers, but they're cool nonetheless
