Keynote (and iwork 08)

    I was trying out keynote for the first time and as i was about to view my presentation my macbook suddenly crashed can anyone help?

    yikes! what were you doing prior to viewing your presentation? is it recurring or it just happened to you once? It may just be an isolated case...try to reboot and reopen your presentation.

    Did the Keynote crash or did the OS crash? Which crashed?

    EVERYTHING! I was simply adding build to it (effects on the txt) then when I tried viewing the presentation kablam hard reset. It happened twice!

    Have you done any maintenance lately such as upgrades, repair permissions, and such stuff? Are all folders and documents and software in the right places? How much free space do you still have?

    I have 112.gigs of hardrive space, I haven't repaird permissions or anything like that as I just recently got my macbook two weeks ago. The most I've done is update to 1.5.3

    might as well repair your disc by putting the install disc in and pressing c when the mac boots up. Then go to disk utility and choose repair disk.

    No harm in doing so.. :D
