There have only been a few creatives who definitively changed the world. You can say that for Charlie Parker or Jimi Hendrix, for instance. There was rock before Jimi, and after Jimi, which were worlds apart. You can say the same for Steve Jobs (and Jony Ive). Apple's real game changers for me were: Apple Computer, the Macintosh, iTunes (and to a lesser extent the iPod), and the biggest of them all—the iPhone. Before the iPhone, people looked at their phone sparingly, for text messages. After the iPhone, the world took a "nosedive" and devolved to this: Fandroids can rave all they want about specs, but the photo above can only be attributed to—or blamed on—Apple. That said, we must deeply honor Jony Ive, like this video does: Life is short. Laugh it off.
