iTunes Error

    who knows how to fix error 5002

    because of this error i cant update my apps

    any ideas how i could fix this

    if you mean itunes it started with 7.7.1

    and now im on 8 but the problem still persists

    Do you receive the error when you click the software update tab under the apple menu? If yes try to hit the apple menu then hit MAC OS X software and it will bring you to the apple download page and try to manually download the software updates and install it. If that doesn't work try to close all application then open disk utility and highlight the Macintosh HD on the left column (it is the second HD icon from the top slightly indented to the right) and go to first aid and run repair disk permissions, this will take 10 to 15 minutes, once its done, close the disk utility window. Hit the apple menu and restart the computer and try it again. If the issue persist tell me, lets try another approach.

    thanks fixed the problem by upgrading to iTunes 8
