iTunes and Spotlight

    hello philmug. newbie mac user here. just wanted to ask if it is possible to seach a song in itunes library from spotlight? what i meant is the mp3 file stored inside the itunes folder. thanks guys for the help.

    it is possible.. just type the song title on spotlight..

    i dont know why its not working. i can easily find other files, but songs on the itunes folder doesnt show on my spotlight. is there a way i can force a folder to be included in spotlight search?

    my songs are in itunes>itunes music>album name>song title

    just go to system preferences > spotlight and put a check mark on music...

    hi kaizersix. thanks for the help. actually i already did that. it can find all mp3's not inside the itunes folder. but the ones inside doesn't show. this is important esp finding mp3's i wanted to transfer..

    Or you can use Quicksilver to search for anything in your computer. Just a suggestion.
