After downloading and installing iTunes 9.0.2. I had to authorize my account again when I synced my iPhone. Wonder why?

I wish future iTunes updates/versions would allow us to backup game/app data and then allow us to transfer said data to another iPod Touch or iPhone.

I just bought a second iPod Touch. I synced with it the same apps and games as my old iPod Touch. However, all the games in the new Touch are back to square one.

@johannes: Have you tried restoring your new Touch from a backup of your old Touch?

First, hook up your old Touch to your Mac and sync it. Then right click your Touch at the left side on iTunes, and select "Backup"

Remove the old and hook up the new Touch. Right click it and select "Restore from Backup". Once that's done, install all the games and sync. See if your games have all the old Touch's data on them.

What do you mean? How do you do that? My smart playlists have been very erratic ever since I updated to iTunes 9.

The current workaround to the smartplaylists giving a weird order on your iPhone/iPod is the following:

-When you want to update the list in iTunes, right click the playlist, edit, and then make sure "Live updating" is checked.
-However, if you want the playlist to be in the right order on you iPhone/iPod, make sure you uncheck "Live Updating" before you synch. The order on your iPhone/iPod should be in the correct order.
-Once you're done synching, check Live updating once more.

I didn't do anything to my iTunes both from my Mac Mini and my MacBook Pro. But I can now see the Library of my Mini from my MBP. On my MBP, there's no "home sharing". But the Mini can't see the folder of the MBP. This is confusing.

    quick question.
    ive downloaded the update.
tried opening the itunes, but i keep getting the small colorful circle showing that its reading.
but when i force quit my application, it says there itunes not responding.
    i removed the app already.
downloaded a fresh copy of itunes.
    now its still the same.
any work around on how to make my itunes work again?
    thanks.
