Hi, This is my first time to post here, I just bought my first MacBook Pro. I installed the newest iTunes on it and tried to import my music library from my external HD into my iTunes library. All of my music files are .mp3. For some wierd reason, there are a lot or my mp3 files that iTunes just would not import. I tried everything from adding the folder/file to library to drag-n-drop it in iTunes, but it just won't play it or add it to the library. All of my mp3 files work on winamp when I was still using my windows PC. Any inputs on this? I'm resolving to converting everything to m4a or aac files. Do you guys know any good free software that can convert in batches from mp3 to m4a? I tried to use iTunes to convert the songs but I'm stuck with my first problem where iTunes wont add my mp3 files to the library. Thanks.
Here's a read. Goodluck. http://trevinchow.com/blog/2008/09/17/fix-for-mp3-songs-not-playing-in-itunes/
