iTunes 8... how is it so far

    halfway done with my download, and i am trembling in anticipation!

    how long did the genius thing take to analyze your library? does it compare to the gapless playback analysis back in the old itunes?

    They're still at work and I only have 9gigs worth of songs on my MBP

    ARGH!

    They're asking for a US based acccount, I can't use my paypal with it. IT needs the data so that it can recommend songs that you haven't bought yet to add to your library!!

    On a sidenote.. OPM songs won't work with Genius.. :(

    How does the Genius algorithm work? It says there's a Genius cloud and with enough information from the millions of iTunes users, you'll get accurate playlists in time... does that mean that if enough OPM song information gets to the cloud, Genius will eventually include OPM songs in the playlists?

    Apparently they're not that smart yet.

    Updating my playlists on my soon to be sold Nano 3G ;)

    How come i don't see the QuickTime update in OS X's Software Update? In fact, based on my experience, SU doesn't see the updates in time, so i eventually update manually. :(
