heck, i didn't notice that, hehe all i know is that my downloading movies has started again and it's on a roll
I don't know if this topic belongs here or to the Apple TV thread, but now that we can rent HD, what are our options in playing HD movies downloaded to a Mac? We can surely connect it to a projector or LCD via VGA cable for better video quality, but at what size can we really notice the difference between SD and HD? My point is it is obviously useless to download/rent the HD version if we are just watching it on a 13" or 15" monitor. Also, any other options for 5.1 audio output?
I purchased several songs and movies which I did not finish downloading and I left them in my queue before upgrading to iTunes 8.1. These items would not download anymore so I rolled back to iTunes 8.0.2. Would anyone know if this problem is fixed in iTunes 8.1.1?
The difference is easily noticeable, especially when you're used to watching HD movies paired with capable gears. I would say HD starts to shine at 40". I'm curious to know our AV options as well, especially since we don't have HDMI.
help, i'm planning to rent or buy movies from itunes but i have i one question. is buying movies like buying apps for the iphone. when the file gets erased and i try to download it again, will it say i purchased it already and just click OK to download it again?
@ yahoomarco: They use a different "accounting" for apps. You can download apps again should you lose them, free of charge. However, it's not the same for music and videos. Be prepared to pay for them again should you lose your files.
thanks sir. good thing i asked because im using win platform 70% of the time. so viruses gallore. have to reformat most of the time. so keeping bought movie cant be an option in my pc.
Chaps - some guidance here. I've got a US address iTunes account mainly to sample all the free downloads. If I wanted to start exploring these HD movie rentals, what is the first thing I need to do in terms of how to pay for it? Is the US site the only one that rents HD movies? What about the Australian site? Is the US site superior in content for example? Thanks
