    Apple has released an update to iTunes to version 8.0.2. The update is available in your Mac OS X software update.

    Thanks for the heads up.. could be iPhone 2.2 is around the corner as well with this new update :D

    rumored release of iPhone Firmware 2.2 is tommorow daw, let's wait and see :)

    Oh can't wait for it... Anyway installed iTunes 8.0.2 and so far so good :D

    It's an 80MB download. After the update I haven't noticed any hiccups.

    Yes, maybe there is a security feature now w/regards to illegaly installed apps... just a thought though. Maybe someone could confirm. I dont know how cause that would be like admitting that he/she has non standard installed apps - via itunes. We of coure do not condone illegaly installed apps. This would be a great security feature specially for us who pay for every app we want

    i just tried importing a CD and iTunes imported it as an MP3!

    i usually prefer AAC but going to the preference doesn't give me that choice anymore! :-(

    is Apple dropping AAC for MP3???

    Just change the format to AAC in iTunes > Preferences > General. Then click the Import Settings... button.

    Has anyone experienced popping, cracking, skipping playback on Itunes 8.0.2? I've been experiencing this since I updated my Itunes. It mostly happens near the end of a track
