I'm using it right now. It seems more stable and is not the processor hog that v5 was. All in all, it seems like a minor update and not a newer version that warrants a v6 tag.
the quicktime update's there, too. i just tested the video function, and it works great--you can watch the music video without having to buy it, actually!
The new iTunes gives you the ability to send purchased music or videos as gifts to "anyone with an email address." Hmmmm. Very interesting! Could this be another iTunes music store workaround for people like me who don't have US issued credit cards? Someone can actually make a business of this!
ack! your suggestion is going to make somebody very rich on the other side of the ocean, buddhaboy... or at least somebody in japan
ha-ha, that could be me, actually--i've been able to buy music from the ITMS, using a US credit card. was looking for a music video to buy last night, just to test things--and then i realized that you could watch the whole video anyway without paying a cent. besides, being an old geezer, i couldn't recognize any of those singers or songs
Aha! By the way Butch, my birthday is December 24. I'd like Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video as a "gift." $1.99 lang. [Edited on 10-13-2005 by Buddhaboy]
It's available now in the Software Update. And don't forget to do "Repair Disk Permissions!" [Edited on 10-13-2005 by jepaz]
they really should do something about that podcast having it's own playlist... uhmmm, not included in the shuffle function.
aw, shucks, was gonna get it for you, gabe--but i don't think it's available looks like all these videos were made last year!
Hmmm, I thought podcasts, along with audiobooks, were automatically excluded when your iPod is set to shuffle.
Has anyone noticed that the about page still has a big iTunes 5.0 slapped on it (even if the scrolling text says 6.0 (17)?
