We have two months to go for another Iphone release. Will you be upgrading this year?. As for me, I’m satisfied with my current XS max phone. I’ll probably wait for my contract to end on 2020 and upgrade with that iphone year cycle.

I won't because the phones are too big. I'm still sticking to my years-old iPhone 5 because of its convenient size. If Apple decides to make smaller ones, I will definitely get a new one.

Great hearing that your iPhone 5 still active as the phone was released roughly 7 years ago. Have you tried using an Iphone XS or Iphone X? The size difference between an Iphone 5 and an XS/X may not be substantial but the features are. iOs 13 is coming and your device will not benefit from it, let alone any OS support for that matter, hence an upgrade soon maybe for the best (Of course with the smallest available model at hand).

Daughter is using an XR, she knows she'll have to wait until next year.

My company phone (iPhone 8) will only be due next year. Singtel is presently giving the XR(or S10)... I hope they're stocks run out before my plan is up.

My "2 year contract" will be up in December, so will see if it's a great change. Honestly, been with the X for a year and half, I still find myself longing for something bigger, my presbyopic eyes aren't helping :ROFLMAO:

Haha. My parents would always say they are not upgrading but they always do by the time they see someone using the latest iteration of an Iphone.

I wouldn't but... I would upgrade to last year's (hopefully priced down) model should my iPhone 7 Plus give up on me anytime soon.
I try to always keep my current iPhone for 2 - 3 years before upgrading, basically skipping an iteration or two then going for the model immediately preceding the latest and greatest; getting to save a bit while experiencing the next best thing.

No. iPhone X still works fine and I don't necessarily have the cash flow to just get the latest and greatest just because. And I think that's great.

I am back with Blackberry . I was surprised at how the KeyOne covers my needs. A day and half battery life :) and emails.
