Although the Nokia 7610 is listed as one of the many compatible phones, I cannot seem to make my unit work with latest version of iSync. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

What a strange coincidence. Just this afternoon I was helping a friend set up his new iBook. He also uses a Nokia 7610 and since it had Bluetooth we decided to pair it already with the iBook. The two devices were successfully paired but you could not set it up so that the Address Book and iCal of the iBook would sync with the 7610. This was in the setup wizard when you select Bluetooth icon > Set up Bluetooth Device. The selection boxes for that option were grayed out & therefore you could not put a check mark on those check boxes. Has anyone actually been successful in syncing these two devices?

i have. and i had the same problems you described. it was my sister's phone but eventually i was able to make it work. try this:

    1. make sure the iSync agent was downloaded on to the 7610 when you were pairing it.
    2. open iSync, select the 7610 icon and select the option "Remove Device"
    3. go to iSync's preferences, then click "Reset Sync History"
    4. turn the 7610 off, then on again. turn on bluetooth.
    5. pair it again. don't select option to download the iSync agent if it's on the 7610 already. it should now work after this, calendar and address book inluded.

if it still fails, try turning the phone off and then on again. let me know if this helped.

Thanks! My friend lives in Tarlac though so I won't be able to try making it work till next weekend when I see him again. I could give him a ring and walk him thru the steps you mentioned above, which is what I most likely would do.
