Guys do you have iStudio's contact nos for Gateway and BHS branch? Thanks!
Hi! Check out istudio.ph
All their branch contact details are listed there
Intrigued by all the positive feedbacks here. How do you transact with Istudio and how do I avail of discounts?
I usually contact Larry via email and/or Eva Mendoza of iStudio Shang Mall via email.
^or you can just go in and ask them nicely for discounts (which they'd give you if you say you're a PhilMugger)
Chairman, can you share mr larry's email here or thru private message? Thanks.
Hitme, tried to inform istudio BGC i was a philmug member but was deadma. No discount extended hence i thought there must be another way. Thanks for the suggestion though.
^ My first ever mac I got from Shangri La Plaza branch. I wasn't even a PhilMug member then but they gladly gave a significant discount.
I don't know if there's a certain approach needed but what I did was get friendly with the attending staff and was offered the discount if paying in cash.
I've been getting discounts ever since even without mentioning my PhilMug membership.
Recommended seller: istudio vmall (small shop), salesperson answered my questions and clearly directed me how to go about my purchase more expeditiously.
Funny, because i have had no problems dealing with staffs of i-Studio VMall and Gateway in giving discounts to us PhilMuggers...maybe Larry can clear this here...
They opened a branch in Ayala Malls Serin in Tagaytay also, I inquired for a PhilMug discount, but they say it's only SRP. Hope they can clear this up
Anyone got any experience with leaving items with them for repair?
They took in my Apple Watch for servicing, and that's like the first Apple product ever that I've had that had any problem that needs service. So I'm pretty much not used to the whole process. Anyway it's been a week, even if they said I'll have an update in 3 days, all the answers are just "service center hasn't said anything yet" or "ganun talaga minsan lagi sila late". Oh man, an Apple Service Center, late? Ewan. Philippines I guess.
they lost me as a their customer when I bought an ip6s+ at their Gateway Branch. The display looks dull. Brown-ish color. When I asked them to check my unit, what they said was "ganyan talaga yan sir. Normal po yan". I didn't argue because I knew I'd be wasting my time. Brought my unit to straight to AASP in Rob Galle to have it checked. They have better service. Their usual turnaround time is 2-3days.
kudos to my friend DAVID who's the manager at BHS branch.
Visited iStudio high street and asked if they give discounts for straight card payment. Sadly, they only give 5% discount on MBP for cash basis only.
So I tried to reserve an iPhone 11 Pro through iStudio's website during pre-order week and was pleasantly surprised they actually got back to me. I have tried to register my interest thru other resellers in the years prior but more often than not no one gets back to me. In their defence it might have been due to garnering a little too much interest, but that's not my problem. In the many years that I contacted iStudio, however, it's always Janice who gets back to me. There's consistency at least!
I got contacted when I was still overseas and since they only hold reservations for up to one day, I let them know that I wouldn't be able to make the purchase until the second week of November at the earliest. They offered to notify me again instead when the second batch of shipments arrive and get back to my reservation. A day or two after my arrival they sent me another message notifying me that there is another unit reserved under my name.
I had plans to buy from BTB since they let me know in advance that new orders will arrive on Friday, and it just so happens that iStudio relayed the info to me two days before that. I was looking to purchase a unit from another premium reseller for a change of pace anyway (especially seeing BTB's recent reviews here) and this was the ideal opportunity for it.
I made the purchase the following day and it's a good unit. The display isn't piss yellow and there's no dead pixel to be seen. I'm happy with iStudio so far and will most likely continue to patronise the store until they give me a reason not to.
due to the significant service fee of credit card companies establishments like iStudio won't be able to give discounts for card payments. it's easier to get a good discount with cash payments.
Mm...my experience with Fortress HK is just as good, more or less. From their online store, I made the purchase and chose the pick up store, weeks before my trip. On the day of pickup, they sent me an email with a QR code. Upon arrival at the store, they asked me for the QR code to prove that I am the legitimate owner. A few seconds later, they gave me the unit.
I proceeded to unbox, to test the unit. I was interrupted and was told, you try it elsewhere, if no good, you go Apple. Ha? Eh kung me diperensiya paano yun? No. You go Apple Apple, pointing to the direction of apple ifc mall. I reluctantly relocated to another part of the store to test my unit.......like on the second floor and far away from the rude sales clerk. Was he shooing me away?! Creep. Luckily , the unit was fine.
Efficient and professional sila plus they have chat support but in-store customer service is minus 300. Layo sa pinoy.
I wonder if airpods pro will get discounts for cash hehe
At I-Studio they do. Say you’re a PhilMugger for 10% discounts. Got an Apple Watch Series 4 strap, two actually, in May this year and got the discount. Better service than the one on the other thread.
