Used the search forum, but couldn't find a related topic for this. Apologies if this has been answered before.

Is there a way to install iPhoto'06 as a standalone app? I don't necessarily want to install the entire iLife '06 yet .

Will it work on Panther? I haven't switched to Tiger yet, for reasons being in a few months, Leopard will be out, and iLife'07 will be out...

    Thanks!

Yes, of course you can. Early the installation process, you are given a Customize button. You can go for an easy install, or customized one where you de-select the components you wish to exclude from the installation.

Nope, iPhoto is part of the iLife suite. iPhoto 6.0.4 and 6.0.5 are updaters and require an iPhoto 6 installation from the iLife '06 bundle.

Trying to look for iPhoto as a standalone is just like looking for a Microsoft Word standalone. You won't find it because It doesn't exist.
