Hello!! I just want to know if it’s enough because I’m not really sure about what bsba students need in acads and I do have a laptop (which is super slow) but I’m planning to switch on an Ipad coz of the pen feature.

    Go for it.

If my computer was from 2015 or older I'd buy this MBA or wait for next year's Macs.

if your workflow works with ipads, then why not? but if you want to be on the safe side, a macbook air would be sufficient.

If money is not an issue, buy a tablet and a laptop. An iPad works great if you have a MacBook.

BUT -> we don't live in a perfect world.

iPad Pro + Pencil + Keyboard is more expensive than the Air!

IMO, I have 2 issues against iPadOS
    1. Apps like Zoom will go full screen, I normally take notes on my device while on meetings.
    2. It only allows 1 user, NO guest account!

Zoom has updated their app to use iOS 14 API that allows for split screen mode without turning off your camera.

will have to try that out again (someday) but it's a usual issue with iPadOS.

Unlike with MacOS where you can just expect the App you need to work.

I’d vote for a laptop - my kids in gradeschool and highschool have this problem of the video cam (in Schoology) not working when it’s not the active window. So when there’s a quiz during online classes, we have to resort to using the extra iPad just to have the camera on the student while the other iPad is where the quiz is taken. There’s also the computer class curriculum of using Small BASIC as the introductory coding language which is microsoft-centric so there’s no doing that in an iPad.

I guess Excel is the worst offender of them all - I feel MS Office for iPadOS just isn’t as powerful as a full-blown desktop version (especially against Windows versions). I can’t seem to do a pivot table using the app so I have to switch to the browser/online version.
