Either. :) Sometimes they replace it with a brand new touch, sometimes with a refurbished one. Either way, it's still all good. If you're concerned about the reliability of reburbished units, this thread might help you change your mind. :) ---> http://www.philmug.ph/forum/showthread.php?t=52640

Need help. I have an iPod touch 2nd gen. Cant seem to see the wallpaper that I've set from the settings? Why is that? Tried setting it with wallpapers that comes with the iPod and also from the photo library. Also tried turning the unit on and off several times. It comes on for a split second then disappears.
    please help.

Try updating your firmware in iTunes. Sometimes issues like these get fixed with a new firmware release.

Aside from resetting, try restoring from backup...

This would also help if one installed a new app or have downloaded something else...

My 2nd gen recently kept on crashing while playing The Sims. I already did a restart, a restore and an update. :(

Hi, do your ipod touch hung sometimes? Just happened with my ipod touch recently. When I slide to unlock it, it stuck in the farther side of unlock bar. Happened also when I unlock it and use the calculator, I can not press anything and the figure zero (0) won't appear after some time. What should I do with this? Thanks.

If that happened once, just a minor bug. If it always happens, then restore and update the iPod Touch. I sure hope you have everything backed up in iTunes.

sir mad mac, happened once in two different occasions. Any way, I'll just back it up again and try to update it. Are there anything can go wrong if I update it again?
