Question for the iPod Nano watch users...

Is there any special care that you do to avoid water damage? Is it generally higher maintenance than your standard water resistant watch? Meaning, do you remove it when you wash your hands, when it rains, etc.?

I am thinking of getting one because it looks really cool, but I am concerned that it becomes impractical with daily use, because I need to charge the thing, and because it isn't really water resistant like a regular watch.

To address those concerns, got Capdase port covers for my iPod Nano watch.

So far, they've helped the Nano hold up to daily use & rainy days.

I have the same Capdase plugs. I went and got them from the same place too, iStudio Shangrila. Best yet, I got them for free! The guy who was attending to me just gave them to me (maybe because I was such a good customer in the past.) Talk about customer service!

If you were to keep the screen on all the time it wouldn't make a good watch. The battery would be dead in an hour. :)

    Yes, I know that. Obviously.

I was thinking that Apple would hopefully think of a way to keep the clock face showing but keep the battery drain down to a minimum. Sort of like a trickle power feed just to keep the clock face on without triggering the other power hungry functions of the iPod. Can't hurt to hope, right?

I like the HEX case better because it is more customizable with various straps. I am posting the same photos in this thread in case you haven't seen my Hex thread.

How do i use the voice memos in the 6th gen nano ipod? After insering my apple earphone with mic, i see the icon. I push the left red button and it says recording (the counter also starts) and i try recording something. After i push the right button to stop recording, it says saving but after pushing it again when the 3 horizontal lines appear on the right button, i can't see my recording(the nano says no voice memos on this ipod!). Pls help!

How do you change the clock face on a Nano 6G? I currently only can switch between a white-faced and a black-faced analog watch. Do I need to install some app from iTunes and then sync from there for new styles?
