I have a prob with my iPhoto app. It is not showing the event/album browser on the left - no panel at all. Currently showing view of photos that resemble the slideshow view with thumbnails at the top - there are left / right arrows but nothing I do gets me back to the event view where I can see all the events ever created.
try to restart the app and see if there's still a problem. or right click iphoto in your dock and see if it says "application not responding." baka something went wrong with it this one time or is it the current state of things?
Could you be just in the Fullscreen View? Have you tried pressing ESC or hover the mouse at the bottom and press X (close) at the rightmost part to bring it back to normal view?
Have did all the simple things like restarted etc. I'm basically trying to get the left panel back - where links to events/albums/last slidesshows/connectedcamera is shown. Anyone?
do you have a screen shot? What did you do before the left Panel was gone? I tried to narrow the Left Panel but iPhoto is not allowing me to do so...
OMG. I finally solved it. I connected a camera just to try to trigger it to import view and eventually change back to the original main view. I managed to import photos to a new event so at least my view changed. After importing the photos, I hit E on the keyboard for Events and it switched views to show all the events - hurrah. But still no left panel. Thats when I didn't think it was possible but Pilgrim28 mentioned it and I placed the cursor at the left edge of the screen and clicked and dragged and viola it worked - the panel is indeed resizable! So I got it all back. How it chose to expand the events and hide the left panel only OSX knows - I certainly didn't do any of this. All I remember before all this was, coming back to iPhoto and it wasn't responding whilst in Slideshow mode and so I Force Quit it. And then all this happened when I opened it again a day later. I'm on version 7.1.5
