Right now that would instantly fit into our 13"x9" PictureBook Pro spec. We're going to study 13"x10" and see if we can adjust to that size.

My HD is almost full. But I got a WD My Home 1 TB as external HD. How can I transfer all my photos to the external HD and still make iPhoto my default browser? Meaning, when I put in new photos, it will automatically get saved in my external HD?

It's very easy. Simply follow the steps in Apple's Knowledge Base Article -- iPhoto: How to move the Library folder to a new location. From that point on, all photos you add to iPhoto will be added to the library in the new location. Once you've confirmed that everything is the way it's supposed to be, then you can delete the iPhoto Library in your internal HD.

Don't forget to backup the new iPhoto Library in the external HD.

iphoto 8.1 is for iphoto '09

your version 7.1.5 is for iphoto '08

if you want to upgrade to iphoto '09, you must buy an ilife '09

    Mods,

I'm having a problem with the Places feature of iPhoto 8.1

When I was using the previous edition, I can view the Map feature (the one with the red pins attached to the locations on a map where the pics were taken)

However, since I updated to 8.1, all I see when I click the View button on the lower left part of the menu is a blank gray screen - no maps, no red pins

I have a good internet connection and I have significant number of pictures geotagged. Hope you can help. Thanks in advance.
