I was forced to update while in Japan. I was navigating Shibuya, when my screen went blank! 12.1 fixed the issue.

Powermac and BTB personnel are competent in installing tempered glass but you have to buy the tempered glass within their stores.

Try Belkin Tempered Glass in Powermac Festival Mall. They use a machine to properly install this tempered glass.

Good day! Has anyone notice that the LED flash of their XS max is weaker compared to the 8/7 plus? Here’s a photo for reference. It looks like may dead spot sa bandang gitna which is more apparent pag mas malayo ang phone sa subject. Is this common kaya or just my unit? Thanks

Honestly I took a long wide look and I couldn't find that dead spot...

Also it never occurred to me that the flash was weaker than the 8...

Tested my aunt’s XS and it also has the led dead spot. Compared it with my sister’s 8 plus and my xs max’s led is indeed weaker. Both xs and max came from globe btw. Also this morning, the earpice had no sound when playing music from spotify. Did a reset and the problem went away. I guess it is just a software problem.

@eli71724 I noticed that last night when I got lazy to turn on the house lights... I get off work at night sometimes so I use my phone's LED light as flash light... Noticed my old one's was brighter... Bothered me slightly but I now make sure the work sensor lights are turned on whenever I get off work...

Mm...similar issue, stereo/mono problem as this:

    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8551427

It could be a Spotify issue. Suggest you run other apps (Pandora, Apple music or even youtube) to check that the audio is in stereo and not mono (meaning only one audio channel is working) to see if it is a software issue or a hardware glitch.

It happened to me as well unfortunately even youtube or apple music wont work. I think it’s a software bug as a simple restart fixes the issue but its quite annoying :(

Have you tried installing iOS beta software and see if it got patched in one of the updates? It's easy to roll back anyway. If not sounds like hardware. :(
