Mm....next version: iPhone XRS (lol! To make the new naming convention even more confusing) : 6.5” LCD Retina. Just a hundred dollars more or USD 849.00.

The 720p screen is a total downer for me probably because i'm coming from a 7 Plus.
I really liked that Product Red Xr *sigh*

I didn't know Xr has lower screen resolution. That's strange considering it is 2 generations new.
But i'm loving the size and color! Might give up my conked out iPhone X to this model.

I honestly have to see a unit on display before I make a final (personal) judgement on that screen...

I think the R stands for “Remix”
Between the iPhone 8 plus and the iPhone X. Heheh. Kidding.

Finally! I’m just excited for the Dual sim function.
For years I’m hoping. This is it.
I like the product Red Xr

That is next friday for me.
I really wish the lower resolution (828p to be exact) isn't a totally downer so I can finally buy one :)

    Same here...

But I'm not buying one... Our IT/Admin no longer allows personal devices after Jan 2019...

So I have to wait which iPhone they're providing...

    Special with egg.
Maybe R stands for "reduced" features.

Mm...I don’t think R stands for anything. Just like S. SE means Special Edition. What about the C in iPhone 5C (Color?).

My theory: R in XR stands for Rated....as in X-Rated.. :p

    R means Regular.

Edit - I stand corrected. Apple has not released an official word designation with the “R” in the XR.

If you go watch Phil Schiller announce the Xr, you’ll get the feeling the the ‘r’ stands for reach.

I once had an iphone 6s and a 6s+ both using at the same time and to be honest i didnt notice any difference, now with an iphone x of course the amoled screen is a whole new ballgame but between the 720p and 1080p screen of the regular and plus size it makes no difference... would be worth waiting to see it in person
