Surprisingly, despite having glass on the front and back, the iPhone X withstood drop tests like a pro:

I really have small hands so switching from 7 plus to X was pleasant

The battery percentage will show up only in the control center....

They removed the stock video app. They replaced it with clips...

I don’t know how but when you make screenshots, the pictures show in full without the black part where the front camera, earpiece are seated...

Just how tolerable mate? Ako din, gigil ako since August even before everyone found out it was going to be called the X.

Kaya everytime I type "I" sa Chrome, Google completes it as "iPhone 8" kakasearch ko ng news dati :D

I remember the first time Apple unveiled the original iPhone..had to settle with an iPod touch as the iPhone was too complicated (jailbreak then) and expensive for me (just started working then). I’ll use this wallpaper for a while..looks beautiful,

Do you use Google Maps or Waze on your iPhone for driving? I wonder how those apps behave on the X. Same when listening to music.

Like if it goes to sleep, you will need to face the screen to unlock it, right?

I didn’t know you could save it.. how do you do that?

    —————-

Took the phone out with me during my trail run this morning. Relieved to know that it fits in my hydration belt. Almost dropped the phone once when I thought I had it in the belts pocket good thing I double checked before ungripping (Zagg Glass is not here). I saw the drop test video and it’s almost sonreassuring that I’m almost tempted to forego the glass protector. I just don’t know how the screen will hold up when it falls while your running on super rocky terrain. Sometimes I snap Instagram story videos while running and it’s just easier to unlock the phone with TouchID vs FaceID while on the move. Bragi Dash Pro and Garmin Fenix 5x no connectivity issues with the X.
Nothing really big to gripe or rave about so far.
Took a few pictures with it:

It was partly cloudy though, I’m sure it looks better when it’s nice and sunny.

Hmm in my case i estimated the srp of unlocked iphone x 256gb when it lands in ph based on sg prices (ph prices are actually higher always by 2-3k) and it was about 7–8k higher ung nakuha kong unit so for me that was tolerable as i get the unit a day after official release, first time to do this actually as i always wait for official ph release, but the X is just so different from the past 3 years that i was really bent on getting one asap. I even preordered at sg and got a nov11-18 ship date but cancelled when i got one na, buti na lang puede pa cancel hehe...

In my case naman bro i had to wait for it to be officially released para subsidized ni globe (exclusive at that time) partially ung payment since it was also too expensive at that time kaya my first iphone was the iphone 3g... then i had to jailbreak it asap and lose my warranty kasi wala pang default way to stop the auto correct when typing/texting haha

That sounds reasonable indeed! How were u planning to ship the SG phone that u canceled? Mind pm’ing me your local toleranle supplier? :)

For 64gb, lowest I could find was 65k. The greedy bastards at Widget just dropped the price from 90k to 75k after 3 days and are getting laughed at
