I am not entirely sure if this is the right thread for my iPhone. I'm sorry if this is OT. I was charging it and got a text. While I was reading the text the screen went pinkish then greenish then black (power off). Now, I can't turn it on. Have any of you experienced this? Any idea what to do? Worst of all, I should bring this to a repair shop as soon as I get back. Any inputs at the moment will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I was looking for a way to vent about my recent experience with an Allan in Denhip. Then I found this. Brought my son's ipad1 for repair, was stuck in an infinite apple logo loop. He said the 3G part was grounded and it needed to be replaced. Ipad wouldn't charge when I brought it home. So I had to bring it back, then of course nobody was interested in entertaining me anymore, while they were actively calling out for new clients. Currently, iPad is stuck and just dies by itself even if it's charged. I just feel so frustrated about this. Worst thing about the post above, he sent the iPad "somewhere" quickly to be fixed, instead of doing everything in front of me. So probably it's now been swapped huh? I hope there's karma for people like him.
hi, kind of OT. but does BURN and JHOY repair lightning cables? 1 of our OEM cable needs a bit of a 'shimmy' to make it connect/charge. i'm planning to open it up and go DIY. any suggestions? thanks!
iPad1 Baseband problem can be fixed but you cannot use the 3G connection for it; what we do is "kill" the 3G functionality so that the unit will continue upon restoring; 2 steps will be made - hardware and software; we charge it for 1000; and alas we bring the unit to another shop to reprogram the unit without using its 3G feature for 4s WiFi problem, it can be fixed as long as no one had tried to repair it; we can replace the WiFi IC but it will shoot to 2500 and the part is order basis; if the iPhone came from Japan and has a WiFi problem there's a bigger chance that the unit will be fixed
