I never use alcohol to clean the screen because in time it degrades the coating. I use eyeglasses lens cleaner from a reputable brand like Zeiss. You can also buy wipes used to clean SLR lenses, which are definitely safe.
Watch your concern/issue get dismissed by people just because it’s irrelevant to them. These green flares are disgusting.

Yes, they are distracting. However, they are a known issue with the lenses on the ProMax. It came up in several reviews as well at launch.
Anyone experiencing cellular connectivity issues? Been having dropped and poor quality calls, and having trouble getting LTE signal mostly while in motion. Already raised this a couple of times with Apple Support and Globe Support but nothing they recommended fixed the problem. Also tried using another sim but issue persists.
So sad, I chose Pro Max because of the camera and can’t take night shots without those flares if the area is surrounded by many small lights. First time experiencing this, coming from ipX. Is the issue also visible with ip11?
Mm...per Apple support, you can use 70% isoprophyl alcohol. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204172 I dillute 50% iso plus 50% purified water. 70% alcohol leaves streaks.
Same Issue with mine. People paid a premium for a flagship phone, you would expect that the accompanying features would be flawless, including the camera which is a major selling point. With that said, apple should seriously rectify the issue and not sit idly.
I stuck with my iPhone 11 Pro and did not upgrade this year. I don’t see any issues with the camera on my iPhone. Anyway, today’s iOS 14.4 supposedly fixes this issue as per the detailed update log: - Image artifacts could appear in HDR photos taken with iPhone 12 Pro
Have you encountered this with your Pro Max? I noticed it 3 days after i got the phone. I didn't put a case on it. Anyone have an idea how to remove it? Thanks!

Is this true? "The iPhone 12 Pro Max A2412 is the edition sold in Hong Kong, Macao, and China mainland. This is the only version coming with physical dual nano-SIM card slots. The Chinese model still doesn’t have FaceTime Audio and Wi-Fi calling."
