Still an issue: When you try to create a contact from "messages" app, like phone numbers texted to you... The app hangs. You have to quit and relaunch the app to be able to use it again.
For my 6 plus it doesn't require a relaunch. It does hang a bit. But after a few seconds it's back to normal again and the contact has been added. It's annoying though.
Hi, I'm currently on 8.1.2 and I want to restore my phone. Can I still use the 8.1.2 despite of 8.1.3 released?
As of right now, you still can, since it's still being signed. Just download the correct 8.1.2 firmware and use it to restore via iTunes.
It's strange that it won't allow me. There's a pop up message says "The iPhone could not be restored because the firmware is not correct". I'm sure I've downloaded the correct firmware for my device.
You could download the other firmwares just to be sure. That happened to me once with my 5s, since there are two firmwares for that one. I wasn't entirely sure which one to pick, so I just downloaded both. Hehehe... It could also mean that the file got corrupted; get its checksum and compare it to the hashes where you got the firmware.
Hmmm I'm sure naman I've downloaded the correct 8.1.2 firmware. Also, haven't got to check the checksum. Anyway, upgrade na lang ako hehe
Alright I've successfully downgrade my unit. I'm pressing the wrong button at iTunes that's why I'd get an error earlier. Dapat pala is Shift + Update instead of Shift + Restore
