I have the same issue as you, Adel. No response whatsover from my ipad.
I was able to do this in my iPad 2 with no issues.
@adel I was finally able to get mine to work. The problem with mine seems to be that the ipad's messages didn't include my number. i just logged out imessages and when I logged back in, my number was there and I chose the option of starting conversations from there.
I then turned on the text forwarding option from my iphone and I was immediately able to get the codein my ipad.
Still doesn't work for me. I can't understand it.
Frankly, I don't really need to get it enabled on my iPad The important thing is I got it running on my iMac. But still it rankles. Grrrr...
Apple Pay is the future of mobile payments indeed... They've got banks backing them up, ease of use and no fragmented payment systems like Google wallet...
This probably will be the most useful app for most consumers...
one minor annoyance.. 8.1 and facebook app. if you tried to upload photos (fb app or messenger app) the first to come up are the videos and instead of the latest photo.
Did you guys noticed that when you turn on iCloud Drive on your iPhone (or iPad, not sure) and choose the settings "optimize for iPhone" it will delete the Camera Roll folder in Photo App and instead replace it with "All Photos" folder?
I guess this means the photos that are now left in your phone are optimized (smaller) in size to save space, but full-res photos are still in your iCloud drive.
8.1 made my hotspot disappear. I am using Sun sim. I use to have The hotspot feature. Any ideas Guys
Finally got the wallpapers used in the ipad event. Check below and save it if you want. [emoji4]
i think i used to restart my phone when hotspot vanished.
i just updated my iPad 2 to 8.1 and restored from backup. SMS Forwarding code immediately appeared when i activated it on my iPhone. not really sure why it works for some and not for others.
all my experiences with Yosemite & iOS 8 so far has been smooth and hassle-free. maybe because I always use Update & Restore for my iOS devices when updating? [update from IPSW via iTunes -> Restore from Backup -> hard reset phone (hold power + home)]
Sir, i had restarted it twice already to no avail.
Did u try this
Is fbband the apn for sun post paid
Try apn: minternet
Got text forwarding working on my iPad. Noob question, does it only work on a connected network (wifi)? Or can it work on only Bluetooth?
As long as it has an active internet connection SMS relay should work. Doesn't even have to be in the same wifi network as the phone [emoji4]
Just wanna share:
Found out that AirDrop between iOS devices and iMacs/macbooks won't work if iMac/macbook is older than 2012.
[h=3]System Requirements[/h]To see if your Mac works with AirDrop, make sure you’re in the Finder by clicking the desktop (the background area of your screen), or by clicking the Finder icon in the Dock. Then, check to see if AirDrop is listed as an option in the Go menu. If you don't see AirDrop listed, your Mac doesn't support this feature.
In order to transfer files between a Mac and and an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, your iOS device needs iOS 7 or later installed and your Mac needs to be a 2012 or later model. To transfer files between two Mac computers, you need one of the Mac models listed below and OS X Lion or later.
For those who want Airdrop like functionality on older devices, you might want to try Instashare. They have apps for iOS devices and Macs. Works flawlessly, been using it for a long time now.
I take it 8.1 is stable now? It's been a while since this thread was updated
