Never been a fan of widgets... But I know a lot of people who loves them.

Apple may bring 'real' home screen widgets to iOS 14 | Engadget

Hope they also update gestures on Apple Music and include swipe to Queue songs, and arrange playlists by Alphabetical, recently added orders.

I am so happy with what iOS 14 will bring to the iPhone! Long overdue requests like new incoming call screen, choosing default apps for mail and browser, inline replies and mentions in group messages are finally coming!

On my Note9’s home screen I have widgets for the date, weather, clocks for different timezones, a quick widget to clear some memory, and a widget to view my written notes easily.

9 years ago widgets were cool. I had widgets for news, sports, social media, etc. But now I don’t see what’s the fuss about it these days. Maybe I just got older and now I just appreciate, and prefer the simple things.

Mm...fatal flaw of widgets: takes too much screen real estate (home screen) even if you have a gargantuan smartphone. I think it is more suited for foldables when screen size is not an issue.

Widgets on iOS will solve my #1 complain with iOS... Apps are organized left to right, top to bottom.

Hopefully there's a widget that tells the date and time that's big enough to use the upper half of the home screen becomes available

Installed iOS 14 I really appreciate the accessibility option to tap the back and choose whatever you want I chose to lock the screen. Ahaha

Haha, they copy features from each other for every new iteration. I wish Android will copy Apple's privacy features, too.
