GM seed is out
and it will be available to the everyone in Sep. 13
not for Public as of the moment
so how do you transition from a BETA release to a GM/Official release? Is it simple as waiting for OTA then deleting th BETA Profile? or are there additional steps?
Are you using a Public Beta or a Developer Beta?
For Public Beta or Developer Beta with the correct profile installed, OTA update will transition to the Official Release.
I think you don't need to "transition" if you have the same FW Version # then you're good I guess.
I am on public beta. So once done with the official release, I just need to delete the BETA profile to avoid getting further BETA updates right?
YEs, just delete the profile. That is what I did in iOS 9 before.
I received an email from Apple giving me access to the final candidate of iOS 10 and macOS Sierra... I am installing and risking my iOS devices but not my Mac...
Thanks for all the answers.
Heads up! GM is now available for Public Beta users.
Installed iOS10 to iPad Mini 2. First thing that I notice the importance of Home button
Ios 10.3 beta released
shall we just wait for this? saw lots of complain on 10.2.1
It's a polarizing situation. On one hand you're clapping your hands for what you think is continuous innovation. On the other hand, you're scratching your head. You released quite a few betas on 10.2.1 and then on the release day of the iOS you announce the beta program of the next incremental update? Do they have a list of updates per version pre-listed already? The list of new features aren't everything; most likely they found something in the previous version(s) that needed fixing but aren't about to announce it officially in the new betas unless a significant amount of owners experience it.
