Mm...stable ba iOS 10.2?
To make it clearer, although this is now moot and academic, since 10.2 is now released:
1) iOS 10.1.1 (build number 14B100) was released for OTA and ipsw
2) iOS 10.1.1 (build number 14B150) was released a fews days later for OTA and ipsw.
If you have #1 installed, #2 won't be offered OTA (delta update). You can only get this via itunes (ipsw).
#2 is the reason for iTunes giving a prompt of offering an updated iOS 10.1.1 download.
it was just released... we cannot say that it is stable. I believe early adapters already tested it before it went live to public.
looks clear to me.
seems stable enough amigo. i haven't really noticed any difference on my 5S at the moment coming from 10.1.
As smooth as a baby's bottom beginning beta 6. iOS 10.2 final uses the same build as beta 7.
(I managed to test only on iPhone 6s, SE, and 7.)
Will have to wait for tonight to be able to download via wifi at home. But just by reading the release notes, Apple packed a lot of stuff into the 10.2 update.
And finally... a facepalm emoji!!
Oh my goodness! I fired up the update . At first it said 16 minutes remaining, and I thought that this is a small update. But now it says 4 hours remaining.
Guys on 10.2, have you noticed the virtual home button becoming unresponsive or frozen? Just updated a few days ago and am experiencing this glitch... (turned my phone off and on already).. tia
My brother has this problem on his iphone 7.
I don't use the virtual home button so I can't comment
I am having this problem, what I do is just press the real home button and then after that the virtual home button will work again, but I believe this qualifies as a bug or maybe the OS being laggy sometimes
My iPhone 7 cant do a hard reset after updating to 10.2. Pressing power and home buttons simultaneously just doesn't do anything. Did you experience this as well after 10.2?
Press the sleep/wake and volume down buttons simultaneously.
They changed the button combo for doing hard reset?
Only for the iPhone 7 to accommodate the new capacitive solid-state home button.
I think it's only on the 7 and 7+ since the home button is not really a button now.
been experiencing this on my 6s plus and ipad pro. other touch points have also become less responsive
That worked! Thanks so much! Didn't know that the buttons had a new layout.
Ah, right. This makes sense. Thanks for enlightening!
yeah! been having this issue on my 5S assistive touch button. i just press the actual home button whenever this happens and everything goes back to normal.
hope Apple fixes this real soon.
