Hey guys, please help me decide whether i should put Invisible Shield on my MacBook Pro. I like the idea that it will not scratch my laptop without adding bulk. Before i do have a speck case for my Black MacBook but it makes my laptop a bit bulky and heavy. I'm just worried, would heat be an issue when i put the invisible shield at the bottom part? Guys need your advise. :)

hey, inv shield user here, im quite happy with the result, its makes my MBP a bit glossy but i like it. putting this protection on means taking care of the unit is much like it when it has nothing on it. you will have to clean it with a damp lint free cloth once in a while to keep the dirt away, some of it will stick on the edge and crevices. but there is nothing one can do except maybe try to wipe it off, but it will make the edges hanging. anyway the product has lifetime warranty with your unit which means you can return it and they will replace your worn out shield for the units life.

im using an invisible shield for my MacBook (polycarbonate) and it helps keep my Mac from getting grubby from finger prints and unwanted scratches...and I placed a shield at the bottom as well it never had an issue w/ getting hot or with related performance...hope this helps :)

well, you can get a decent sleeve instead. just make sure to put your MBP back in every after use avoid dusts and scratches.

natural finish of MBP feels and looks good. i'm just using a protection on my keyboard and palm rest coz these areas are prone to dirt and smudges.

With regard to the lifetime warranty, i asked the booth who sells the invisibleshield that they will repleace it. Given you have to pay them for the shipping fee to return the old shield in US. For MBP its worth P800.
