In your opinion, what resto serves the best STEAKs? and I don't mean the cheap P99-120 kind. I'm looking for the big, tender cuts!
Antonio's of Tagaytay, definitely... but somewhere in Manila, please...

Manila: The Fireplace Grill in Hyatt Hotel and Casino

    Makati; definitely Elbert's Steak Room

    The Fort: Aubergine

You can't go wrong with these three.

In Alabang, there is a restaurant called French Corner by Billy King (an article came out in sunday inquirer magazine penned by margaux salcedo one of my fave columnists hehe). Me and the family went there last year and I tried their Pepper Steak... amazing! Check it out.

Hehehe... yeah. I know this place. There's one also in Banawe, and a new branch in Timog (?). It is cheap steak (125) but it tastes good.

this thread however asks for steaks which are not in the P125 range. ;)

Yeah, been wanting to try that place, Alabang's too far. He used to be with Le Souffle, right?

Billy King owns both Le Soufflé and French Corner. Great steaks and wines! Knows how to serve rare steaks properly - charred on the outside, red on the inside but not dripping blood. The old cook at Minggoy's in Greenhills could do that too but both he and the restaurant moved on.
