    Hi guys,

Just wanna share a technique I discovered in importing MS Excel file into Addressbook.

I have a database of names, telephone numbers, email address in MS Excel 2004 file format that I would like to import into my Addressbook. MS Excel can export into DIF (data interchange format) or comma delimited text format. Addressbook can import only vcards (*.vcf) format and LDIF format. Just discovered that LDIF is different from DIF as I couldn't import the DIF file MS Excel created into the Addressbook.

As a workaround, I exported the file as a comma delimited text file then imported this into Entourage Addressbook. I highlighted the entries I wanted and dragged these into Addressbook to create the entries.

Anybody with a workaround that eliminates the Entourage step?
