Hi guys. I was hoping someone can help. I've tried using iMovie and iDVD already and just realized it'll take up a lot of hard drive space in my pb. I've just decided to get a 250gb 7200 rpm external drive to work on transferring my miniDV home movies to DVD.

My question is, is it possible to save the iMovie files into the external drive? Or does iMovie force you to use the resident drive where it's located?

Your insights and comments would be very much appreciated. :)

Yes you can just click on the external enclosure icon once you load imovie to make your home video.
