Is there a good freeware for image caputring that would detect my USB QuickCam? P.S. Do you guys know the app that would fool iChat into thinking that I have a FireWire Cam than a USB one so I can use the video feature? Thanks!
It depends on what brand/model of webcam you have.You can try macam as your usb driver it worked for my old Kensington webcam . You can get it at macupdate.com.For video capture try video capture 1.0 again at macupdate. I can't vouch for video capture as I haven't tried it though.
