I followed everything the Apple website taught me on how to enable MobileMe for iPod Touch. First I connected my iPod to my iMac and synced my Contacts, Calendars, Emails and Bookmarks. Then I synced MobileMe via System Preferences. I also checked the me.com website and my Contacts and Calendars are there.

Now on to the iPod Touch. Added my Me-mail address and the "Push" is already enabled. I also enabled everything on the Me-mail so it'd sync. I get the message that my everything on the iPod will be removed, I proceed and synced it. But now my Contacts, Bookmarks and Calendar events are gone althought I have them on my Me-mail page. Is this normal? I've been waiting and hoping that it's just a long process of syncing via air but up til now no Contacts and the others I said above. Please help me I really want to make this MobileMe thing work.

@kaloyster, try doing it again. try a soft restart of your iPod touch. Maybe the MobileMe servers are still having problems.

You have to give it time to do it's initial sync, especially if you have a lot of data. When you sync for the first time on your ipod touch, your data (calendar, contacts) get deleted first, then sync with your mobileme account.

Just give it time. I also have mobileme syncing to my ipod touch and mbp. it works fine.

Sometimes it really takes a while for it to update. One time I had to leave it alone overnight. I'm not sure at what point it updated but everything's already there when I woke up. The servers are having several problems recently. It might not be a good idea to use auto-syncing just yet. I also do several backups of my address book and calendar out of the fear of them being wiped out if something goes wrong with MobileMe again.

Thanks for clarifying about the servers guys! Yeah i'll give it a try and wait a bit more to see if it's just their servers.
