just finished watching the guided tour of iPhoto and iMovie 09... ang lupet! Will the new macs be bundled with iLife 09?
So who wants to order the family pack with me? I need 4 more people so it will be around $20 each. The upgrade is $79.00 but the family pack for 5 Macs is only $99.00, which I guess the best deal if you are like me who got only 1 Mac right? Will this work?
iLife '09 will be available late January. If you purchased your Mac after Jan 6th '09 without iLife '09 preinstalled, you have to pay US$9.95 plus tax (price differs on the country where you purchase the software). So when you buy a new mac, make it sure it's bundled with the new iLife '09.
iLife '09 is now available at the Apple Online Store Philippines at P4090 (single pack) and P5790 (Family-pack for 5). Ships January (no exact date, most liekly by last week). Now that group buy is beginning to be a great idea.
i hope they also have iWeb tour. seems to me there's not much new features (they even took out some templates i like). iPhoto looks nice though. not familiar with family pack, how does it work? only 1 'installer' disc i suppose?
Yes, the family pack would contain only one disc but have five license stickers. I'd like to join the group buy as well.
Face-detection sorting of pictures! Count me in a group-buy for the bundle family pack (leopard, iwork, ilife) which is a better deal.
Yeah but I guess we have to wait for the availability. Says that it ships January and I'm not even in Manila/PI. I just had the idea earlier. We can talk about this as soon as they already have the exact date and I will be coming home this Feb. so we can do the purchase. Sounds like a plan? Or If some of you can't wait you can go ahead without me I am not in a hurry anyways. Thanx for all your replies.
Question: If I upgrade to this, my iLife '08 will automatically be deleted or overwritten right? (I've just been a Mac user for a little over a year now...)
Hi guys. I just bought a macbook at Apple Store here in the US. It's still sealed and planning to return it to avail of the new iLife and iWork. Do you think this is possible?
Yes you can without restocking fee since its still sealed. However, you will have to wait until around late January if you want iLife '09 to be preinstalled. As far as iWork '09 is concern, you will have to buy it separately.
