Hello ! I have a Mid-2007 17" Macbook Pro, I was just wondering how could I tell if it has a Matte or Glossy Screen. I had wondering about that since I had bought it last year...

    Hehe. :D

If you step out in the sunlight nd you can see a reflection or some sort, then it is a glossy display otherwise it's matte.

Turn off your computer and look at the screen if you see yourself then you have a glossy screen.

If you can't see yourself, either you have a matte screen or your a ghost :)

It's actually simple. Look at the screen!

The glossy aluminum unibody MacBook Pro has a black border. Everyone knows how this looks like.

The matte aluminum unibody MacBook Pro has a silver border.
It's officially only available for the MBP 17". Here's a screen shot from the Keynote...

P.S. Oops earlier model pala MBP mo. I got used to seeing "aluminum" mean Unibody.
Aluminum nga din pala ang MBP dati :)
