Hi Im having problems with my IChat Vdeo conference. when I invite a friend locally here in the Philippines we can seem to connect . It will hang and say - do you want ot report this error to apple - so i always click yes but apple hasent addressed the problem. The funny thing is why is it when i talk to my cousin ni the states we can see and hear each other in ichat? why not locally?? is it a port setting ? a Server setting? or is it my provider im using SKY and GLOBE
Now we tried to do it in one location meaning both of us in my office. Video audio works....strage we are using Globelines DSL here . But on different locations (in QC and me in Manadluyong) we both use SKY Cable DSL An error comes out and we cant see each other and the Beach Ball of Death comes out.
How come my Mac suddenly showed a prompt like "this device does not support video conferencing"? when i tried to audio/video chat my my friend? This message appeared last night, which i flawlessly used the day before. I already installed/uninstalled the iChat but still prompts me the same message. The webcam appears with the YM and Skype but not with the iChat. How come it suddenly not work anymore? And the "Camera Enabled" is not highlighted in the dropdown menu. Maybe someone can help me. Thanks!
I do have Ichat installed on my macbook but I normally use Gomeetnow conferencing software for all kinda solutions. Yep for personal purposes its skype. See ichat with windows guys seems a daunting task. Sounds doesn't seems that great..so no other choice.
I opt for the combination of skype and www.rhubcom.com for all kinda meetings to webinar works on my Imac . Ichat doesn't seems comfortable with windows platforms......
