searched for the above topic but got really old threads...

anyway, anyone else having connection problems with iChat? i can't can't seem to connect at all using my mac account to an AIM user, nor thru jabber (gtalk to gtalk).

although when we shared a connection through my home wifi, jabber worked fine. not mac to AIM though. :slanted:

Are you using a router? If you are, try connecting your Mac directly to the DSL or cable modem, just to troubleshoot. That way, we'll know if it's a router settings issue or your Internet connection.
