Good morning folks.. (I tried searching the forum for an iBooks thread but did not find any. Mods, kindly delete or move thread if inappropriate.) I would like to ask if there is a way to synchronize the books I'm reading between iOS devices? For example, I'm reading an ePub on the iPhone and bookmark the page where I stopped reading. Can I resume reading the same ePub on the iPad, picking up from the page I left of? This, of course, assumes that both devices have the same ebook and have been synchronized through iTunes. Thank you for your inputs in advance ü
Thank you sir. I've done this setup already. But I think it only works for books purchased from iTunes.. Would you know if there are other methods for books from other sources? Thank you again ü
Do they sync even if the ebook is from other sources? I tried it but it doesn't seem to appear on other devices what am i doing wrong?
Hmm...i just assumed it did because i do most of my reading on a kobo device, but i tried it just now and it only synced the books purchased through the kobo store. My bad on that. this may address the initial question, though: I’m now syncing *sideloaded* books across multiple devices. Here’s how… » Paginations
Yes i saw that too. But I can't remember how to add books to itunes. I haven't done it in awhile. IIRC, I used to add through the calibre app but when I tried yesterday or 2 days ago, I wasn't able to. I haven't fully tried though. Will try again soon thanks!
Hi guys! I have plenty of pdf files that I want to convert to epub. Any suggestions on what software to use? I believe epub files are much versatile compared to pdf files. That's just me though. Thank you!
Hi Ronnel, i got a couple of links for you: Online ePub converter PDF to EPUB | Zamzar - Free online file conversion
Calibre can convert pdf's to epub. Do note that unless it's a purely text document, the conversion process may take away the photos and tables that are in the original pdf.
