I thought I should share, just this morning, while I was looking for my favorite shirt, wifey placed my MacBook (in a laptop bag) on the bed. I was putting shirt after shirt on the bed until I found what I was looking for. I put on my jeans, and stood on the bed, then realized I was standing on something other than the shirts--too late as I actually stood on my MacBook--like 3 to 5 minutes! First thought was oh no, I definitely cracked my 'Book (which is the usual problem cited here), but when I checked and opened it, it's fine as it was, and yes, what a relief...

Very lucky indeed. I guess the shirts serves as a cushion.

Probably the cushioning helped a lot. Both under the macbook and the shirt. This is a good reminder. Thanks

Well it's really a relief that nothing happened to the macbook ;) Otherwise it would be a day of mourning for all mac lovers. But it's the christmas season and you are one lucky guy :D

This reminds of me of an old advertisement where an elephant stepped on a mattress :) (no offense meant). What is the brand of your mattress? he he. I think it saved the day for you.

Chalk one up for durability! haha. This is a warning for me, kasi I do that din when I dress up for work and prepare my stuff. I put Moby on the bed and then the clothes beside or on top of it. Yikes!
