Hi! Just recently switched to a mac.... so i'm not so familiar with it. About an hour ago, I accidentally deleted the top bar icons in finder. My trackpad is set to dragging, that's why just a lttle more power on finger, i accidentally dragged out the icons. For the rest of my time, i've been searching Mac help looking for some info that will help me put finder back to it's default settings. But, I haven't had any luck. Can someone please tell me what to do? Thanks!:uh-oh:
Are your referring to the back, forward button icons? click the view menu then click show/hide icons.
hey, actually i meant the network, HD... icons. But, I finally figured it out! Yipee! Macmon, I really appreciate you replying to my post! Thanks a lot! :smooch:
To simulate that.... 1) launch FINDER 2) toggle THOSE sidebar shortcut by pressing the button located at the TOP-RIGHT corner of the finder window.. see what will happen.
Well, in my case, i didn't lose the whole sidebar. I just accidentally dragged out some of the icons from it. This is what i did: 1) pressed finder on the menu 2) clicked on preferences 3) then, when a new window appears, click on the SIDEBAR icon... 4) then, choose the icons you want to appear or not in the sidebar.
