Whenever I download photos from my web-based email into my computer, preview automatically opens them. Once they're down being downloaded, preview always opens up. Is there any way for me to stop this from happening?

I was somehow able to stop Preview from doing that. Let me just try to remember how I did it.

Update: Got it! It's in your browser. In Safari, go to Preferences > General > uncheck "Open 'safe' files after downloading."

    That should do it.
