I recently purchased a Macbook unibody 2 GHZ and swapped its 120GB HDD with my old MBP's 500GB HDD for obvious reasons. It just occurred to me that the original drive of the MB Unibody already has iLife 09. Is it possible for me to port iLife 09 to my 500GB without copying the entire content of the 120GB HDD and erasing the content of my 500GB? How do I do this?

Your iPhoto library is placed in a file called "iPhoto Library" in your Pictures folder. Just copy that to your current pictures folder and you're good to go.

For iTunes, copy the iTunes folder in your Music library.

Don't know about the others :)

Thanks Leo! It turns out I don't have to port iLife 09. I forgot about the installation DVDs that came with the Macbook. Problem solved. :)
