How to migrate to Canada without any relatives/friends

    We downloaded the list of Designated Employers while searching for jobs. My wife found the school on the list, saw that they were looking for a teacher, and emailed them directly, not through Indeed or any job board. The school owner said it helped that my wife sent an email directly to them because it caught her eye and she immediately responded to it.

    Some designated employers may not be currently hiring, while some employers also find going through the AIPP process a bit challenging. I think provinces in Atlantic Canada are still fine tuning the process that's why the program was extended another year (until 2021).

    Hahaha not really but when you see that non-Caucasians are the only ones getting screened and checked at ports of entry then you kind of have an epiphany. Well, also the cold makes our balls stick like rocks under so it’s actually a pain. Other than that, am a happy trouper all day.
