Hi, im sorry if im posting in the wrong thread. Im wondering how to setup my mac so that it can access US based content on Garageband, iTunes, Hulu, etc. My mac is on the philippine location I guess thats why i cant access them. Thanks in advance.
thanks for the reply sir, i have done that already but garageband still wont let me see some of the US based content. Hulu wont even give me access, it says the service isnt available on my country alert.
I'm not sure about Garageband (I don't use it), but like lesterjune said, Hulu used to be accessible outside the US via US-based proxies like Hotspot Shield. Lately though I've heard that Hulu has also started stricter checks so that such access is now difficult. You might want to look at trying out access via a US-based VPN - but that might involve a more complicated setup than a proxy.
Tor is kind of slow for me, especially for video streaming. VPN is the only reliable way. You could get a paid VPN or try the previously mentioned free, ad-supported Hotspot Shield. I heard it has bandwidth limits now though.
